Culture Camp 2024

Program Information

Czech and Slovak Sokol Minnesota has a tradition of supporting educational, cultural, social, and athletic activities.

Cultural Day Camp program provides campers with the opportunity to learn about Czech and Slovak heritages. The program fosters personal growth through cultural enrichment, including social and recreational activities. The theme this year is “Fairs and Puppetry.” We welcome campers from all backgrounds.

Staffing

Our volunteer staff of experienced instructors and group leaders have diverse backgrounds, including certified gym instructors, a certified home economics teacher, and several teachers. Staff enforces safety during all activities.

Program Enrollment

Czech and Slovak Sokol Minnesota Day Camp is limited to 32 campers this year. With our many volunteers, we have a high instructor-to-child ratio.

Because of reading activities, younger children must have completed kindergarten and be six years old.

Hours

To include additional camp activities and to assist families by having a longer camp day, hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

To make sure campers are supervised, please do not drop off before 8:20 a.m. or pick up later than 3:40 p.m.

Further Covid-19 requirements may be required.
